Pastel portraits are done on acid-free, archive quality Canson Mi-Tientes drawing boards. Mi-Teintes boards comply with ISO 9706, which meets the highest standards of preservation and longevity.
The pastel pencils are professional quality and have a high lightfastness rating and are sealed with a UV protective fixative to provide even more protection.
Despite the lightfastness of the materials, portrait drawings should be matted and framed under glass and hung out of direct sunlight for maximum longevity.
